When a sophomore I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. In 1997 I participated in simulation tool development for the scheng system in Prof. Wang’s lab. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab I designed a simulation program for transportation scheng system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. In 1998 I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis &dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In 1999 I joined the distinguished Professor Yu-Geng Xis research group aiming at Network flow problem solving and Heuristic algorithm research. Soon I was engaged in the FuDan Gene Database Design. My duty was to pick up the useful information among different kinds of gene matching format. Through the comparison and analysis for many heuristic algorithms I introduced an improved evolutionary algorithm -- Multi-population Genetic Algorithm. By dividing a whole population into several sub-populations this improved algorithm can effectively prevent GA from local convergence and promote various evolutionary orientations. It proved more efficiently than SGA in experiments too. In the second semester I joined the workshop-scheng research in Shanghai Heavy Duty Tyre plant. The scheng was designed for the rubber-making process that covered not only discrete but also continuous circumstances. To make a balance point between optimization quality and time cost I proposed a Dynamic layered Scheng method based on hybrid Petri Nets. The practical application showed that the average makespan was shortened by a large scale. I also publicized two papers in core journals with this idea. Recently I am doing research in the Composite Predict of the Electrical Power system assisted with the technology of Data Mining for Bao Steel. I try to combine the Decision Tree with Receding Optimization to provide a new solution for the Composite Predictive Problem. This project is now under construction.

Besides In July 20__ I got the opportunity to give a lecture in English in Asia Control Conference (ASCC) which is one of the top-level conferences among the world in the area of control and automation. In my senior year I met Prof. Xiao-Song Lin a visiting professor of mathematics from University of California-Riverside I learned graph theory from him for my network research. These experiences all rapidly expanded my knowledge of English and the understanding of western culture.

I hope to study in depth.

In retrospect I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheng Problem Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network) Supply chain network research Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Although my grades are not very good,but I gain in the process of learning a lot. First,I correct the attitude. I admitted to medical school,we had to liberate yourself,but I soon realized,Medical School of the learning is more need to work seriously. hard to see the students around the learning,the learning journey began medical school,who feel left behind. Medical School study is not as junior as spoon-fed,but the teacher had finished the course,and then see for yourself,to understand.

This time self-study ability and self-control is very important. Since long-term self-study I know wants to learn just is not enough hard at hard study,to learn “method” method of doing things. An old saying: “to teach him to fish than teach him to fish,” I aim here is to learn “ fishing,”What are diligent in thinking,experience do not know where to ask diligently.

In learning to“ think indepently ”as its motto,always keep in mind alert. in the acquisition of knowledge during that time,I with teachers and students to establish a strong friship. the earnest teachers teach,so I appreciate the fun of learning. I and many of my classmates around,have also established good relations of learning,help each other overe difficulties.

Learning nursing theory alone is not enough,even with good nursing skills. Therefore,in the practice of class time I will seek opportunities to operate more than a few times,with fewer medical school students already can be a lot of space for students. So I can take advantage of school hours and more to practice.

Health School of the fourth year in a hospital internship of our time,basically staying in the hospital a year are learning. Here I'll skilled nursing my operation technology,the theory and practice together,in,under the guidance of teachers in fully with my patience and love of patient care so that patients get good care,early recovery. To hospital practice recognizes that many nursing students are learning,also increase exchanges with other students and their learning opportunities,training their munication skills,learn the strengths of others and recognize their own shortings. So I like to practice . Although sometimes I feel tired,but,this music does not he.

I think his biggest drawback is that like the dual or even bent over with. Quick success,like the breath learn many things,but the greedy more than one can,even if it was able to learn,it had been too he is very tired. Now think about this is not good,the saying goes,you in essence not in Canton. over time,if I focus on one kind of knowledge,not for Bo,but refinement,I believe that more deeply understand and master this knowledge. Ever since I found myself have the shortings and problems,I often caution their own,can not be bent into the society of dual-use.

Life through four years of medical school,learned a lot of knowledge is more important is to master the technology of nursing operations.
